Conversion: Page Attributes

The Accessibility Wizard allows the user to select page attributes such as the background color, output type, and output size. When selecting these items, review the target audience for the presentation as well as how it will be presented (on a large screen or on personal computers), to determine the best selections.

Selecting a Background Color:

The Wizard will prompt for a BACKGROUND color selection. The default background color for the content area is White. This selection is essential if your project contains white or light colored text. To view additional colors, select the CHANGE COLOR button and the color palate window will open. Select a color from the palette and select OK. After completing the background color selection, select NEXT to continue.

Output Options:

The Accessibility Wizard will prompt for OUTPUT OPTIONS for the presentation. As well, this screen of the Wizard is where the file name can be entered, output language selected, and a template color scheme can be selected. This screen will offer different options based on which Office application you are using.

Output Option Screen in PowerPoint:

The OUTPUT FORMAT for a PowerPoint presentation is available in five different formats. To select an Output Format, select the checkbox next to the format. Although all are optional, either Text Only or Text Mostly must be checked. The Output Formats are:

When GRAPHICAL is selected in the Output Formats, the options for GRAPHICAL FORMATS is activated. Select the size of the graphic output for the presentation. If more than one graphical size output is selected, the user will have the option to "zoom in" and "zoom out" in the final presentation based on the selections made.

When a GRAPHICAL FORMAT is selected, the options for DEFAULT GRAPHICS is activated. This will be the initial size of graphics in the presentation. If only one Graphical Format is selected, the Default Graphics will match the size automatically. If more than one selection is made in the Graphical Format, a selection by the user must be made in the Default Graphics.

The OPTIONS area allows for the incorporation of notes that have been made in the PowerPoint presentation. Select the box for the notes that should be included in the converted presentation.

The Wizard will output the document in three different formats. To select an Output Format, select the checkbox next to the format. Although all are optional, either Text Only or Text Mostly must be checked. The Output Formats are:

Additional Export Options:

The default filename for the main page is "index.html". If another filename is desired, enter it in the DEFAULT FILE NAME space. Filenames that are generally recognized are index.html, index.htm, index.php, home.html, and default.htm.

The default output language is English. If another language is desired, select the dropdown menu in the OUTPUT LANGUAGE space. Select the new language for the output of the presentation.

The Accessibility Wizard allows a selection for the color scheme of the output page. The default is a blue and white template. If another template is desired, select the dropdown menu in the COLOR SCHEME space. Select the new template for the output presentation.
